| 1 | owl sp.Strigiformes sp. medium-sized owl flying directly overhead just above tops of street trees and disappearing beyond corner of apartment building - visually lighter & darker grey markings under body and wings, body shape of a Strix sp. (looked immediately like a Barred Owl coming from a North American birding context); not a Little Owl, and too grey/dull for a Barn Owl (plus wrong body and wing shape for both), probably a Tawny Owl, but leaving it as a sp. without a better view than I had |
