Took an uber up here from Lisbon to check it out. Mostly overcast when we arrived, transitioning to light rain at the end. Started at Rocha da Nau, swung briefly through the park, and ended at Praia da Rainha. The park was beautiful, lush, and full of birds but I was with friends/no bins/moving quickly so couldn’t do much but attempt to ID what I was hearing. Park looked very Australia-like with well-manicured lawns and towering eucalyptus. An idyllic setting, especially with the old castle (now a museum) perched along a tendril of clear blue water that comes in from the sea.
