| 7 | Eurasian Crag MartinPtyonoprogne rupestris Small group catching insects over the top of high hilltop hotel west of Lisbon. Windows on tail feathers clearly visible backed by the setting sun. Otherwise, dark above and slightly lighter below. Appeared brown in the sunlight. Tail straight across when spread. Alternated between swallow-like soaring and flapping and rapid wingbeats reminiscent of a chimney swift. |
