6 | Phylloscopus sp.Phylloscopus sp. Several pictures but no singing birds to help refine the ID. They were foraging less actively than similar birds did during winter. I don't know which Phylloscopus they are, and Merlin Photo ID didn't know either. Three were in the grove by the meadow, actively moving from ground to lower parts of trees (photo). More pale chiffchaff-like birds were by the park's back wall, less active, sitting in the trees there. Two photos were of strongly brown-backed birds, but with no head visible, so I didn't count them or submit those photos. |
