6 | Common QuailCoturnix coturnix 2+4 at least. I made two different stops in the road that heads to Ponta da Erva: 1) The first one was closer to Ponta da Erva, where I heard 2 birds at the same time. 2) The second stop was basically where the Ponta da Erva road meets the road that goes over the main canal (where the big Eucalyptus is) and onto the EVOA access road. There, I stood for quite some time, and ended up listening to 4 birds singing from 4 directions: 1 in from of me, pretty close; 2 at the same time, also in front of me, but further way; and a fourth one behind me. |
