At least 272 (almost certainly more) flew west along Cabanas waterfront between 15.15 and 17.15. Majority were adults but quite a few 1st and 2nd summers too. Some were in mixed groups with Yellow-legged Gulls but many were in single species groups of 3 to 15.

Flew east
4CarraceiroArdea ibis
Flew west
1AbelharucoMerops apiaster
Flew north west
1FrancelhoFalco naumanni
A male Lesser Kestrel flew north-west over my head while I was counting the Audouin's Gulls moving west. I didn't pick it up till it was quite close to me but it looked as if it had flown in off the sea.
