Lagoa Seca, Povoação, Açores, Portugal
Tim Healy
Exploring the roadsides and farm fields. Very little water left, hosting a few juvenile Italian Crested Newts and good numbers of Iberian Green Frogs. Also observed an Azores Noctule foraging and drinking from the pool. Sunny and warm
1 | CaturroAythya collaris Apparently continuing drake, unreported for some time now. Molting into eclipse plumage and likely flightless or nearly so. Hanging around the reduced pool of remaining water. Photos to be added |
